Sunburst

This origami is from a book called Ornamental Origami by Meenakshi Mukerji. This design is called Sunburst. I made the 6 piece version, but there is also a three piece one. I attached all 6 pieces to make this amazing creation! While I was making this, it was hard for me to keep all the pieces together, the sunburst kept falling apart. I followed a tip I found in the book and used clothespins to hold the pieces together. It was much easier after that. On the finished piece, I put a thread through a neat hole I found in the middle and hung it in my room! It felt awesome!

I think that this was a great design. It was fun to make, and looked great at the end. I highly recommend making this.
